1. In addition to choosing a topic that you are interested in, think about the doability of it. If you find interacting/interviewing with people difficult, maybe text analysis is more suitable for you.
2. Study the moves and steps for writing a research paper. You can learn them by reading other research articles or by taking the academic writing course.
3. Make a habit of writing everyday even though it's just a few words/sentences. Progress not perfection.
